Debbie has taught art and ceramics and holds a Master's Degree in Fine Art from the University of Washington. Gary holds degrees in economics and business from Eastern Washington University and manages the firm's operations and productions. Together, with their two sons, Joss and Cody and a menagerie of animals, they live and work in a turn of the century cottage on an island in Puget Sound near Seattle. This tiny rural island, about the size of Manhattan, is covered with fir and cedar trees and is populated by deer, bald eagles and spawning salmon. It is here that they make their home and raise their family. And it is here that ... surrounded by the ancient forests and tapestry of waterways of the Pacific Northwest...Fecher-Gramstad Sculptures are born.   About This Pottery:This is an extremely well done sculpted figural piece of pottery, which is then painted by the artists - Debbie Fecher and Gary Gramstad of Bainbridge Island, Washington. Debbie Fecher Gramstad ceramic egg cups are sculpted to look like a male figures. This ceramic egg cup is in very good displayed condition, with only minor surface scuffing. Cup does not have any chips or cracks. The bottom is signed F Heart G 92. This egg cup measures 3.5" H x 3" W. The painting on this piece is outstanding, with great imagery.
