Kousnoulovitch Amir Valiakhmetov is a Russian visual artist who was born in 1927. Several works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'Late Autumn' sold at Christie's Paris 'Interiors' in 2007.


Amir Khusnulovich Valiakhmetov was born in 1927 in Kazan, Tataria. Studied at the Kazan Art College and from 1947 until 1953 at the Moscow Art Institute. Taught at the Kazan College from 1953 until 1955, and began exhibiting in 1957, including the 'Soviet Russia' show in Moscow in 1960. Ref: Dictionairy of 20th Century Russian and Soviet Painters.
